If soil or rock layers with insufficient load bearing capacity have to be bridged in the subsoil during construction work, pile foundations are used. To make sure that the piles provide a safe foundation for supporting structures complex requirements, such as the non-linear resistance-settlement curve, and special foundation-specific actions must be considered.
Since 18 November, structural engineers have had access to the latest version of the FRILO software for structural analysis. Within this update, the provider of innovative solutions for structural analysis and structural design is launching a completely new solution for pile foundations in addition to numerous helpful functional enhancements in existing programmes.
With the S7+ program, FRILO has met the special requirements for the calculation of single-aisle hall frames made of steel. In particular, the interface with the SRE+ and SPS+ solutions for calculating connection details provides the user with great added value. The smart handover options allow structural planners to work noticeably more efficiently.
Whether during flying visits to the construction site or in project-related meetings – structural engineers sometimes carry around stacks of their statics calculations with them. The successful synthesis of the FRILO Document Designer and the StaticsToGo App now provides a remedy. All results can be integrated in one document as a central data source and carried with you on a mobile device.
With the latest release 2021-2, FRILO has expanded its product portfolio in timber construction and brought a completely new solution to the market. The HTB+ program is used by software users to calculate timber beams made of cross-laminated timber using the shear analogy method.
As of today, the latest version of the FRILO structural analysis software is available for structural engineers to download. The provider of innovative solutions for structural analysis and structural design has new exciting performance enhancements and programs to offer. One of the highlights is the new BIM-Connector which will improve the workflow between architects and structural engineers.
This is how statics work today: more documents on the go, less paper piles. With the FRILO app StaticsToGo, users have their static documents available at all times, whether on the construction site, in a meeting or at any other place. StaticsToGo synchronizes 1: 1 project and chapter structures from the computer or laptop to the tablet or smartphone.
As of today, structural engineers are able to download the latest version of the FRILO structural analysis software. In addition to the new Eurocodes for Austria, the provider of innovative solutions for statics and structural design has also implemented a new program for the calculation of roofs in its current Release 2020-2. In addition, other programs have been expanded.
